Terms of Use
These terms apply to the CMCfy website, the CMCfy tools at app.cmcfy.com, the offline copies and the training material. By using CMCfy you agree to them. Last updated 31 October 2026.
1. Who we are
CMCfy is provided by Accolade Software Products LLC, a United States company ("we", "us"). "CMCfy" and the CMCfy logo are trademarks of Accolade Software Products LLC. Questions about these terms: sales@cmcfy.com.
2. Your licence
While you have an active plan, a single-report or dossier pass, a trial, or access we have given you, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use CMCfy for your organisation's own internal regulatory, quality and development work, within the users and limits of your plan. Everything not expressly licensed to you is reserved by us.
3. What you may not do
You may not, and may not allow anyone else to:
- copy, reproduce, modify, translate or make derivative works of the CMCfy software, page code, rules, checklists, templates, guidance register, report wording, designs or training material, except for the reports you write with it;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, de-obfuscate or otherwise try to obtain the source code, rules or structure of CMCfy, except to the extent the law expressly allows despite this restriction;
- use CMCfy, or anything learned from it, to build, train or improve a product or service that competes with CMCfy;
- resell, sublicense, rent, host, publish or redistribute CMCfy or its offline copies, or share them outside your organisation;
- share log-ins or access codes, or let more people use CMCfy than your plan allows;
- scrape, crawl or copy the website or tools by automated means, or collect content from them for any dataset;
- remove or change any copyright, trademark or licence notice;
- test, probe or attack the security of CMCfy, overload it, or get around its limits, sign-in or usage controls. Report security issues to us instead (see section 10).
4. Ownership
CMCfy, including its software, rules, checklists, templates, text, designs, logos and training material, is owned by Accolade Software Products LLC and protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You own the reports you write with CMCfy and the data you load into it.
5. Your data
The tools run in your browser. The data and documents you load stay on your computer or in the folder you choose; we do not receive or store them. If you use CMCfy Writer, only the text you approve in the "What will be sent" box is sent, to the writing service you chose, and we do not keep it. You are responsible for your own data, backups and the systems you use CMCfy on.
6. Your responsibility for the output
CMCfy prepares drafts and checks. It does not replace your quality system or the judgement of your qualified people. You must review and approve every document before you use or submit it. Text written by CMCfy Writer may contain errors.
7. Plans and payment
Plans, prices and limits are shown on the pricing page or in your order. Fees are paid in advance and are not refundable except where the law requires it or we agree in writing.
8. Suspension and ending
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, do not pay, or put CMCfy or other users at risk. When your access ends you must stop using CMCfy and delete any offline copies. Sections 3, 4, 6, 9 and 11 continue after it ends.
9. Warranty and liability
CMCfy is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it is error-free or fit for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, regulatory outcomes or lost data. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Security reports
If you find a security issue, email sales@cmcfy.com with "Security report" in the subject and give us a reasonable time to fix it before telling anyone else.
11. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Accolade Software Products LLC is organised. A signed agreement with your organisation takes precedence over these terms where they differ. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use CMCfy after a change means you accept it.
